Sunflowers
18/09/2024
As evening slowly settled over the field of sunflowers, the lights faded one by one along the horizon.
The world grew quiet, but the sunflowers did not.
All day long, they stood together in the field, stretching gracefully toward the light.
With every ray, they absorbed a piece of it, as if it made them more beautiful, more radiant.
And when night arrived, they were not left in darkness.
Softly, almost unnoticed, they began to glow.
As if they had been preparing for this all along.
To reveal who they truly are when everything else fades.
